Submissions

We are now accepting manga submissions.

Shrine Comics is opening its doors to creator submissions. If you have a series or one-shot that can stand beside the rest of the Shrine line-up, this is where you pitch it.

Before You Submit

Read the requirements carefully. The strongest submissions are clear, professional, and show both storytelling ability and a clear visual direction.

What Fits Shrine

Distinct voices, strong storytelling, and projects that can help broaden the current line-up instead of repeating what is already there.

Requirements

What your pitch needs.

Applicants must be 18+

Submissions are only open to applicants who are at least eighteen years old.

Cover Letter

Introduce yourself or your team, including relevant background, previous work, and what you bring as creators.

Elevator Pitch

Sell the manga in one or two sentences. Keep it sharp, specific, and memorable.

Series or One-Shot Synopsis

Explain the story in more detail, including the premise, cast, and where you intend to take the work.

Concept Art or Sketches

Show the visual direction of the project. This should be submitted as a PDF.

4 to 5 Manga Pages

Submit story pages that show storytelling skill. Covers or standalone illustrations are not enough. This should be submitted as a PDF.

Additional Information

Shrine is looking to publish at least one one-shot each quarter.

A strong one-shot can lead to future serialization opportunities.

Projects that expand the current line-up in genre or tone receive extra attention.

Transparency

Shrine Comics is still a small, passion-driven business.

This should not be treated as guaranteed income or a substitute for stable work.

For accepted projects, Shrine handles financing and distribution for potential publication paths.

The team is actively working toward fair compensation as the platform grows.
